This is the 26^th workbook in a series of books written to help people with their Japanese reading comprehension.

Across these, there are then ten sub-chapters with reading and comprehension questions — with some topics opting for more creative-thinking style questions where the reader is encouraged to express their own ideas and opinions based on the topic of the reading. 

The readings range from things like recipes, posters you’d find on local information boards, articles about strange things you’d see around your neighborhood, piano recital initiations, tables comparing Mars and Venus, and much more, so the book will pique your interest as you go through it.
